I Need A Good Summer Vacation Idea For Ca?
Hi! My boyfriend live on the coast of CA (near the beach) and we need a good Vacation Idea that is not too $$$. We go to San Francisco a few times a year, and we also go to So Cal all the time and go to disneyland- so we are kinda burned out on those things.
We need a good trip idea for a week off this summer. I am not a camping gal and we are not shoppers (there go the shopping town like santa barbara).
We have already been to the monetery aquarium, and we are fresh out of cool ideas. We want to stay in state, not spend too much money, and have a fun realxed time…….. any ideas?? we are stumped!

The Mission and rose gardens
Lots of other historic buildings
Great food just about everywhere
Scenic drives through the hills
and pleanty of night clubs and bars after hours.
Sequoia National Park
San Diego (Spas, SeaWorld, San Diego Zoo)
Redding (Northern CA)
Sacramento/Gold Country
Tahoe/Sierra Nevadas

or the exploratorium in SF
it sounds like you have explored a lot south of san fran so maybe mount shasta or going to the sierras. you wouldnt have to camp theres a few cool towns up there like sonora, arnold, twain heart, murphys and columbia. its a georgous area and theres lots of lakes. these are mtn areas but you dont have to camp.
another idea is santa cruz.
if you smoke pot, or just like laid back towns, go up to mendecino county, or arcada, in humboldt county.
